ENGLISH TRANSLATION
iMishna is an amazing Torah application that weaves a comprehensive English translation. Thousands of hyperlinked footnotes have also been included for more detailed explanation. NOTE: Most Masechtas already have an English Translation and we will continue to add more with future free updates.

AUDIO LECTURES
iMishna features audio lectures for every Mishna that can be added or removed from the built-in Download Manager. Lectures are given by Rabbi Rabbi Chaim Brown.

MISHNA YOMI
There is a built-in Mishna Yomi calculator that allows you to see the days Mishna with just one touch. Follow the cycle and complete every Mishna in just 6 years. iMishna makes the process portable and easy.

KEYWORD SEARCH
Use the built-in Hebrew keyboard to search for anything within the 1000s of pages of iMishna. The results will be highlighted for easy access.

PRINT & SHARE
Print or email almost any content from the app. Ideal for Shabbos learning! (Printing requires an AirPrint compatible printer)

Pros and cons of iMishna with English and Audio app for iPhone and iPad

iMishna with English and Audio app good for

Thank you for creating Mishna available on the iPhone! Plus many mefarshim, amazing!
Really great begining. Would be better if a PDF download of Tiferet Yisrael was available.
Update: After several months of use, I am thankful for this superb, convenient program. The company was steadily adding to it, filling out missing areas. The available audio files are a portable "shiur", well-explained lesson. Very useful when you are learning and either want "company", have a little trouble focusing, or dont understand the mishnah. Looking at other peoples concerns, perhaps a reminder of what you get for the money: you cannot get mishnaiyos, English translation, and a portable teacher for the money through any other medium, unless you have a mishmayos suitcase and traveling personal rebbe with you at all times. And for any wishing for more commentary, well sure its a nice thought...but relax, use your orher, bound paper sefarim. Simple market demand supports lots of heavy commentaries for paper only, so far. And finally, re: incompleteness, I agree. Theres a serious gap: NO translation for any of Seder Nezilim. Ahem. I hope the developers are going to fill that gap soon!! We otherwise may carry a book translation - but thats not what we hope to get when we buy! But it looks like everything else here has a translation. The translations English is stilted and older. It may even be public domain perhaps, but it is nonetheless very, very useful. Where it is confusing, the audio shiurim come to the rescue. Overall, its a great program / app. Who would have thought a short time ago ALL of Mishnayos would be in ones pocket? Developers: Please, I am learning Nezikim, and I hope the translation is added very soon. First review: This is a very impressive program. Other mishna apps are all welcome, but this for me is easily the most useful. It is great for me to refer to the integrated English, where it exists. I earnestly await more English. I look forward to further updates as this "mechaiye" of an app continues to develop.
Great app for those situations where you find yourself without a Sefer but still want to learn... Keep up the good work! Hoping for an iMishnaBrurah next. (with tzuras hadaf)
Good product. Nicely designed. Good value. A couple of comments: 1. Dont care for magid shiur - hes not clear, has poor command of language, doesnt explain well. 2. Program allows one to follow mishnah yomis but only shows *first* Mishnah, not second. 3. When one clicks on the days Mishnah, say Perek 4 Mishnah 5 and 6, it takes you to *beginning* of Perek. Annoying! Anyway, good product. Hope they correct these issues.
Still need to complete the English translation for all tractates. But I love the audio shout feature.

Some bad moments

Claims to have English translation but most of it is missing.
I downloaded the latest update to my iPad and now it entirely locks up and freezes every single time that it opens. The $25 app has become useless. It is locked up on my iPhone too.
For basic learning its OK but navigation needs to be improved. If you are trying to learn the mishna it is very hard to switch back and forth from the english to to the Hebrew. Two suggestions: make an option that the bar stays on so its easy to switch between Hebrew and English OR and I would really prefer this: put one lone hebrew and one line English. Ex. Mayaymuhsy koren es shema From when do we read shema The other problem is it does not yet have everything in English, and what is in English, the footnotes have a lot of formatting errors. Fox these and my rating goes way up.
Im sure this is a great app except that the home screen opens for about 2 seconds and then shuts down. Please fix this fast!!!!!!
The English feature is not working for nedurim and a few other mesachdos
So I bought this app expecting for there to be the English translation as they advertised. It was not cheap and so far I have found that half of Nashim, and Zeraim are completely missing the translation. Those are only the ones I checked. I hope someone is working on that because I feel like I was lied to. Dont advertise english translation if you barely have English translation.
